The 31st Southeast Asian Games won the championship, and the Vietnamese women’s team erupted in emotion

On the evening of May 21, the Vietnamese women’s team won the women’s football gold medal by beating Thailand 1-0 in the women’s football final of the 31st Southeast Asian Games.

The only goal of the game was scored by Huang Ren in the 59th minute of the game.

This victory helped Mr. Mai Dezhong and his coaches successfully defend their gold medals in the SEA Games.

This is also the seventh gold medal of the Vietnamese women’s team in the regional competition.

When the final whistle blew, the players were so excited that they ran to hug.

Afterwards, the golden girls ran to the stands with flags and celebrated with the audience.

During what may be the last SEA Games of his career, coach Mai Dezhong is enjoying the joy of victory. It was the fifth SEA Games gold medal of his career and the third in a row.

Emotional, the 72-year-old military leader ran around the playground with the flag with his students.

Fans cheered in the stands at Cam Pha Stadium, creating a fiery celebration.

The victory also helped Vietnam separate more than 100 gold medals from teams that were behind Thailand in the medal table at the 31st SEA Games before the final day of the competition.
