Chanathip joins the strongest team in Japan

The best player of AFF Cup 2020 officially joins Kawasaki Frontale Club, a team that has won the J1 League 4 times.

On the morning of January 11 (Hanoi time), the J1 League homepage announced that Kawasaki Frontale had reached an agreement with Consadole Sapporo to recruit Chanathip Songkrasin. The Thai midfielder officially became the rookie of the defending champion J1 League.

Chanathip will play for Kawasaki Frontale from the 2022 season. The contract between the two sides has not been disclosed specifically. According to Japanese media, Kawasaki Frontale Club is aggressively recruiting good players to aim for the third consecutive J1 League title and the long-awaited first AFC Champions League title.
